3,0 mio. The aim of the project is to demonstrate the value of targeted bacteriophage treatments in reducing the impact of antibiotic resistant E. coli strains, using chicken septicaemia as a model. This project also has the potential for significant One Health impacts, given the similarities between pathogenic E. coli strains that infect animals and humans. It is also a proof-of-concept project for other bacterial pathogens of livestock.

Øget brug af varians-baserede simuleringer i udviklingsprocessen ville kunne give design ingeniørerne en øget forståelse af hvordan devicet vil fungere i hele udfaldsområdet, dvs. inkl. varians fra produktion og brug. Udvikling af en proces og metoder til at lave sådanne simuleringer vil muliggøre hurtig udvikling af innovative og pålidelige devices, hvilket kommer patienterne til gode.

Parkinson’s sygdom er karakteriseret ved tab af dopamin neuroner i substantia nigra der medfører en ubalance imellem to sæt af projektions neuroner der danner den ’direkte vej’ og den ’indirekte vej’. I dette projekt vil vi forstå de neurokemiske ændringer der forekommer i hjerneregioner neden strøms for disse to sæt projektions neuroner efter aktivering eller deaktivering. Projektet vil øge den systemiske forståelse af patologien bag Parkinson’s sygdom til gavn for udvikling af lægemidler.

The scientific objectives of the MetaCat consortium are to deliver enzyme collections to industries, which encompass a high percentage of AFH enzymes (“all-round” and “frequent h it” enzymes). The enzyme classes we strive for include nitrilases, transaminases, ketoreductases, glycosyl hydrolases and lipases/esterases, which are of utmost importance for biotechnology. They can be implemented in the production of fine and platform chemicals, chiral building blocks and many other high-value compounds and their application usually results in a speed-up of synthesis routes and thus a significant reduction of the time to market. Special attention is paid to robust enzymes accepting large and bulky substrates

Der transporteres over 500.000.000 planter (min.10% spild) om året alene i DK i bakker med ca. 10 stk.

1,8 mio. Peptider er en lovende klasse af molekyler til behandling af en lang række sygdomme. I nærværende projekt ønsker vi at udvikle en ny peptid-screenings platform som muliggør direkte selektion af enkelte funktionelt aktive peptider fra peptid-biblioteker som indeholder op til milliarder af individuelle peptider.
Det forventes at etablering af en sådan screenings platform vil øge mulighederne for hurtigere at finde terapeutiske peptider med nye virkningsmekanismer og ønskede egenskaber.

An integrated power converter and battery energy storage system to meet multi-functional requirements for active and reactive power control and harmonic filtering in large wind power plants.;

4,5 mio. Adenium is developing AA139 as a novel class inhaled antibiotic for treating respiratory infections in cystic fibrosis patients. There is a clear need for new treatment options since the outcome of available treatments is limited by increasing resistance development, narrow efficacy spectra and suboptimal treatment regimens. AA139 shows great promise to meet the requirements and presents a compelling commercial opportunity. This project focuses on the safety of inhaled AA139.
