I zoologiske haver er der gode omsætninger i at tilbyde produkter til andre kundesegmenter end blot at have salg af almindelige entrébilletter. Terrariet ønsker at starte et projekt kaldet ”Du bliver bidt af det”. Projektet skal udvikle et nyt forretningsområde, som indeholder tilbud, der er målrettet private, virksomheder og institutioner, som ønsker en anderledes oplevelse i Terrariets unikke rammer eller med ud-af-huset tjenester med unikke dyr.

Bacterial resistance to antimicrobials is recognised by the WHO as a major health threat of the 21st century and as the third largest threat to humanity. Antibiotic Stewardship (AS) promotes rational use of antibiotics as a way to control the spread of antibiotic resistance.
Our aim is to build on the clinical trial success of the previous version of TREAT, by targeting applicability at point-of-care. Through three project phases, we will develop, integrate, implement and test an optimized version of the decision support system (DSS) TREAT for AS, to improve individualized infectious disease diagnosis, rational antibiotic treatment and management of ongoing therapy.
The outcome of this project involving partners in Denmark, Sweden and Israel is a fully integrated DSS ready for implementation in other centres allowing for a personalized medicine approach, lowering the percentage of prescribed antimicrobials, while prescribing appropriate therapy to those who need it.

I projektet udvikles en hybrid pasteuriseringsløsning og robotgribeløsning, der muliggør en hurtig og fleksibel tappeløsning til drikkevarer uden egenkonservering og med komplekse proteinstrenge. Løsningen vil kunne levere samme renhed som langt dyrere og langsommere autoklaveløsninger, samt en avanceret sensorpakke der muliggør automatiseret dokumentation af alle delprocesser i produktionen. Løsningen vil også muliggøre rentabel produktion af selv meget små højkvalitetsproduktserier.

Today, when a fetal malformation is detected during pregnancy, current technologies offer an explanation in less than one in five cases. This means that couples may decide to terminate or continue a pregnancy without knowing if the malformation is a symptom of a multi-organ syndrome, a treatable disease or a single malformation. Furthermore, in on-going pregnancies, the prenatal surveillance, delivery, and post-natal treatment and care are carried out without knowing the specific diagnosis/prognosis of the child, which often leads to over- or under-treatment of the child, failed or ineffective therapeutic interventions, parental anxiety and feelings of guilt, as well as uncertainty and frustration amongst health professionals.
We propose personalised medicine for the unborn child and family by implementing the newest genetic technologies - Whole Exome Sequencing and Whole Genome Sequencing - as a first line diagnostic tool for all fetal malformations that are currently unexplained.
