European Biodiversity Partnership under Horizon Europe, Biodiversa+ BiodivMON, on “Improved transnational monitoring of biodiversity and ecosystem change for science and society” is now open

Hvem?

IFD can fund all types of Danish partners actively participating in the project. Read about the requirements and funding rates in Danish Rules and Guidelines for international projects.

Hvad?

Eligible cost-categories for Danish partners: Salary, Travel, Subcontracting, Materials, Communication and knowledge sharing and ‘Other expenses’. IFD fund overhead according to national rules. IFD encourages Danish academic partners in application to include Danish non-academic public and private organizations as partners in the applications in order to increase impact in Denmark. If two projects are rated equally high on the common ranking list, IFD will prioritize our national co-funding to the project with the highest impact in Denmark.

Hvor meget?

Maximum funding budget including overhead to universities etc. for a Danish partner is €300.000. If two or more Danish partners participate in a project, the maximum funding budget for all partners is in total €500.000 including overhead.

About the call

This call will cover the following three non-exclusive research themes:

  • Theme 1: Innovation and harmonisation of methods and tools for collection and management of biodiversity monitoring data
  • Theme 2: Addressing knowledge gaps on biodiversity status, dynamics, and trends to reverse biodiversity loss
  • Theme 3: Making use of available biodiversity monitoring data

All environments (i.e. terrestrial, inland freshwater including wetlands, and marine) will be eligible. 

Topics:
