430.000 We need more fiber in our diets! A lack of fiber is linked to health issues like obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. On average, we consume only about half the recommended amount. While most people know they should eat more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, many still fall short. Not all fibers are created equal. At Ora Biotics, we are developing Precision Prebiotics—natural fibers that are easy to incorporate into food products, making fiber intake convenient and enjoyable, ultimately promoting better health.
Our approach targets specific gut microbiome members and optimizes fermentation time to influence satiety and stimulate the release of satiety hormones in the gut and brain. By leveraging our expertise in fibers, human health, and food production, we create products that are efficient, targeted, and simple for food companies to integrate into their offerings.
Our first product focuses on weight management as a natural GLP-1 booster and gut microbiome enhancer. Sourced from a food side stream, it’s environmentally friendly and land-neutral while delivering precise health benefits.
