1.9 mill. Formålet med forskningsprojektet vil være at udforske de praktiske aspekter ved at bruge forbrændingsbundaske til at erstatte naturligt sand i beton. Eksempler kunne være brugen af bundaske fra forbrænding af biomasse, slamaske fra renseanlæg og bundaske fra affaldsforbrænding.
Forskningsprojektet vil undersøge askens egenskaber og deres sammenhæng med egenskaberne af beton indeholdende bundaske og en vurdering af de sandsynlige holdbarhedsaspekter.
