Forbedringer, som vil reducere driftsudgifterne samt potentielt forøge vingehastigheden for derved at kunne forøge konkurrenceevnen af vindenergi.

Der er i disse år regulatorisk fokus på at reducere mængden af kobber i skibenes bundmaling - senest har Korea skærpet kravene med virkning fra 2024/25. Kobberreduktion har både miljømæssige og økonomiske gevinster.

Men med ny teknologi indenfor terahertz (THz), er det nu muligt at tage nye reducerede skala SAR målinger ved at bruge elektromagnetisk stråling skaleret i bølgelængde svarende til miniaturemodellerne. De nye reducerede skalamålinger vil blive brugt i model træning og til direkte validering af simulationer, med det endelige mål om at forbedre ATG.
