430.000 Idéen består af simple lavpris mikro-opgraderingsanlæg til rensning af biogas, for at hjælpe små biogasanlæg med at opgradere deres biogas, så den kan føres ind i naturgasnettet.
De biogasanlæg der i dag ikke opgraderer deres biogas, laver i stedet kontinuert kombineret el- og varmeproduktion via en forbrændingsmotor, men denne konstante produktion matcher ikke med markedets varierende el- og varmeforbrug, så en løsning med omlægning til biometanproduktion vil være mere økonomisk og bæredygtig fordelagtig for disse anlæg.
Der er ca. 140 biogasanlæg uden opgradering i Danmark og mere end 10.000 i Tyskland. De anlæg har hovedsageligt ikke opgradering, da de nuværende teknologier er for omkostningstunge.
Mikro-opgraderingsanlæggene vil spille en vigtig rolle i den grønne omstilling ved at gøre det økonomisk overkommeligt for små biogasanlæg at sende biogas ind på naturgasnettet. Dette vil øge andelen af vedvarende energi i gasnettet og reducere behovet for fossile brændstoffer.
Investeringen fra Innovationsfonden vil give mulighed for at færdiggøre udviklingsprojektet i samarbejde med biogasproducenter. Midlerne vil blive brugt til at videreudvikle og teste prototyper, samt markedsføring af produktet hvilket vil kunne føre os til kommercialisering.
På lang sigt ser vi vores virksomhed som en førende leverandør af mikro-opgraderingsanlæg til små biogasanlæg, ikke kun i Danmark, men også i større biogasmarkeder som Tyskland og resten af Europa.
