430.000 Du har sikkert set det ? en vindmølle der står stille selvom vinden blæser... Vores mål er at reducere driftstop af vindmøller for at øge energi-produktionen, og yderligere øge levetiden af vingerne på vindmøllen.
Hver eneste nye generation af vindmøllevinger bliver længere og tyndere. Det har fordele, men betyder også, at vingerne bøjer mere i stærk blæst end tidligere, hvilket har den konsekvens, at man er nødt til at stoppe møllerne, når blæsten er stærkest - selvom det også er der, udbyttet er størst.
Med Theta Optical Technologies' Blade Motion Tracker er det muligt at måle den udbøjning, vingen foretager i flere sektioner, og dermed sikre en mindre sikkerhedsmargin og dermed øget energi-udbytte potentielt op til 1%.
Med innofounder har vi tid til udviklingen af vores prototype og validering prototypen i samarbejde med Siemens Gamesa, der er intresseret i t teste, validere og måle vingens flexion og torsion.
På sigt kan teknolgien udvikles til at blive bygget ind i nye vindmøllevinger, mens den i den nuværende udgave er designet til jævnlige serviceeftersyn og anvendelse i udvikling af prototyper. Uanset anvendelse hjælper den til at sikre at maksimering af energiproduktionen og forlænget levetid for de møller der anvender den. Dermed bliver udbyttet af investeringen i grøn teknologi forbedret, og den klimamæssige belastning for møllerne reduceres gennem hele deres levetid.

12.5 mill. The aim of this project is to develop a comprehensive approach, to produce large wind turbine blades fully recyclable and sustainable. To tackle the waste issue of wind turbine blades and reduce the CO2 emissions, the WiseWind project aims to provide the material basis for a new type of wind turbine blades, fully recyclable, which will be easily separated into high performance glass fibres and polymer resin. To identify a promising recyclable resin and introduce it in the manufacturing of large wind turbine blades, a number of innovations are required. To assist and optimize the production and recycling of wind turbine blades using the new resin, the WiseWind project will develop a computational model and digital twin of the wind turbine blade composites from cradle to grave. This model will support the adjustment of curing profiles limiting residual stresses and ensuring the best fatigue properties for the blades. The model will also provide processing conditions for the recycling processes considering several techniques. To validate the sustainability of the new resin, environmental impacts will be characterized, a cost analysis will be performed and additional social parameters will be quantified. With the existing recycling technologies, current blades mostly end in landfill. The project will help reducing the 325 ktons of blade waste predicted in 2050 in Europe [1]. The WiseWind project will also contribute to reduce CO2 emissions originating from wind turbine blades.
