I dette projekt vil vi udvikle kohærente interconnects til QPUs, som vil gøre det muligt at bevare kvante-entanglement mellem qubits på tværs af flere QPU chips. Dette forventes at blive en nøgleteknologi der muliggør en modulær tilgang til at bygge storskala kvantecomputere, ved at forbinde flere QPUs samt dedikerede moduler såsom kvante-hukommelser til en hoved-QPUs kerne.

Spektrometret adskiller sig fra industristandarden ved at være betydeligt hurtigere, have ingen bevægelige dele og ikke kræve kryogen køling. Derfor vil det foreslåede spektrometer have klare fordele til industrielle formål, f.eks. overvågning af produktionslinjer. Teknologien baserer sig på frekvenskonvertering af infrarødt lys, et teknologiområde hvor ansøgerne er førende.
