2.5 mill. Multipel Sklerose (MS) er en invaliderende sygdom hvortil der mangler gode behandlinger. Dette skyldes at der ikke er nogle gode og tilgængelige biomarkører, som kan bruges til at dele patienter op efter deres sygdomsstadie eller hvor hurtigt den skrider fremad. I dette projekt vil vi afprøve en række nye markør kandidater baseret på måling af nedbrydning af proteiner med relevans i MS, og vil vi gøre dette i relevante kliniske studier, og derved forhåbentlig finde nye og relevante biomarkører.

1.1 mill. Vi har udviklet et genanvendeligt, midlertidigt vægsystem, der er designet til at reducere miljøpåvirkningen i byggeriet markant. Vores innovative løsning anvender genbrugsmaterialer, herunder soldater og biopaneller lavet af hempcrete og ålegræs, sammen med et unikt joint & zipper design, der muliggør hurtig og korrekt montering. Dette system tilbyder et bæredygtigt alternativ til traditionelle gipsvægge og kan CO2EQ-emissioner med 90 %, baseret på LCA-undersøgelser udført af DTU. Væggene kan monteres hurtigt (30 minutter pr. 10 m2), hvilket minimerer energiforbruget på byggepladsen, og de er designet til adskillelse, hvilket muliggør omkostningseffektiv og miljøvenlig renovering med paneler, der er 100 % genanvendelige eller komposterbare.
Markedspotentialet er stort med en stigende efterspørgsel efter bæredygtige bygningsløsninger i midlertidige strukturer til erhvervsbygninger, kontorlokaler og mere. Vores system giver ikke kun en højtydende vægløsning, men bidrager også til at reducere affald, ressourceforbrug og CO2-emissioner – i tråd med de globale bestræbelser på at bekæmpe klimaforandringer.
Innovationsfondens investering vil gøre det muligt for os at færdiggøre og skalere vores løsning til TRL7, forbedre designet, optimere isolering og sikre lufttætte og brandbeskyttende vægge. Desuden vil finansieringen hjælpe med at implementere pilotprojekter med erhvervspartnere og demonstrere levedygtigheden og virkningen af vores bæredygtige teknologi i virkelige situatione

2.4 mill. Hidrosadenitis suppurativa, HS, er en kronisk betændelsestilstand, som opstår omkring hårsækkene hvor hud berører hud, dvs. i armhulen, skridtet og ballerne. Den berører 1-4% af befolkningen, hvoraf under 50% får tilfredsstillende behandling. Vores hypotese er, at ved at etablere en præklinisk model af kulturer med hudbiopsier fra HS patienter, kan vi teste effekten af eksisterende og nye lægemidler, og herefter associtere resultaterne fra modellen til kliniske parametre hos patienter med HS.
