21.1 mill. Cybersecurity attacks pose a threat to our current day lives, increasing in frequency and magnitude of their impact as time goes by. From financial to retail transactions, private, health, military or intelligence data… the list goes on across every sector of the global economy. This scenario only gets worse with the emerging development into quantum computing field, with public authorities in countries like Germany and UK already migrating to quantum-safe systems. This highlights the need for NEW solutions that can create true unpredictable random numbers to cope with increasing and even post-quantum cybersecurity threats.
Our consortium (DTU: Alea Quantum technologies, a spin off from DTU: Ghent University: and the Danish Metrology Institute) will use this Grand Solutions project to advance the development of a secure, low-cost and ultra-fast quantum random number generator engine (QRNGine). By project end (2027), 3 QRNGine variants reaching high TRL levels (19-inch rack and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) component - TRL8: microchip – TRL4). The 19-inch rack and OEM will be tested and validated in data centers and as part of Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) systems, respectively, being ready for market launch 3-6 months after project end (ie mid-end 2027). On the other hand, the microchip version will be the first of its kind reaching TRL4, requiring at least 3 more years of R&D before commercialization (2030+).

430.000 Alt for mange børn og unge forlader fodbolden og fællesskabet i klubben. De ønsker at blive bedre og have det sjovt, men glæden slukkes og talentet visner, fordi de ikke trives på holdet. De føler sig hverken hørt eller set og svaret er en fuckfinger til foreningslivet. Det har landsholdsspilleren Nicoline Sørensen og teamet oplevet på nærmeste hold.
Udvikling er ikke kun for eliten, og mistrivsel og dårligt træningsmiljø skal bekæmpes alle steder. Vi har ideen til en app, der hjælper træneren med individuel coaching og holder øje med trivslen. Målet er en sund træningskultur, hvor problemer fanges før kontingentet afmeldes, og unge fortsætter med at vokse gennem leg og fællesskab.
Spillerne fortæller ved hjælp af smileys, hvordan de har det. Træneren kan reagere: hvis en spiller mistrives og klubben kan hjælpe i tide, hvis holdet sejler. Appen er også fyldt med fodboldfaglighed, så træneren sparer tid, løfter kompetencen og den enkelte spiller får en udviklingsplan.

430.000 Trrimber er en online platform, der ønsker at blive den globale centrale markedsplads for råtræshandel, der sikres transperans og sporbarhed i værdikæden. Trrimber faciliterer handel med træ ved at bringe flere købere og flere sælgere sammen med et enkelt klik.
Trrimber konsoliderer, hvis nødvendigt, mindre volumener på tværs af flere sælgere for at imødekomme køberes eventuelle behov for større mængder pr. transaktion, og frigør hermed potentialet hos mindre skovejendomme til at bidrage til imødegåelsen af den forventede øgede globale efterspørgsel på træ.
Inden 2050 forventes den globale efterspørgsel på træ at være steget med en tredjedel. Verden søger mod træ som et bæredygtigt byggemateriale, der som ressource er fornybar og som optager og lagrer CO2 samtidigt med at en øget anvendelse af træ i byggeri fortrænger og dermed substituerer CO2 tunge materialer som fx stål og beton, hvorved byggeriets CO2 aftryk reduceres.
Trrimber gør det lettere, hurtigere, billigere og mere profitabelt at drive bæredygtigt skovbrug samt at handle med træ.
