YakSolutions, saving lives with rescue robots We develop the innovative assistive robot YAK that enables fast, safe and cost-efficient rescue operations. Unlike other solutions, we create a practical solution that can be easily placed under existing stretchers, allowing rescue agencies to conduct effective rescues so that lives can be saved. We have integrated an electric power propulsion system that enables YAK to be used in any terrain, allowing rescues in mountains, dunes, fjords, and other nature, under any weather condition. Our initial customers are rescue agencies, but we have the potential to target other organizations such as fire departments, the military, and even construction sites. Our business is based on B2B and B2G. The YAK will be available as a one-time purchase plus an annual maintenance fee. We have developed the first prototype that has been tested by the three main rescue organizations in Europe. We have validated our idea and we are now working on a final product to do our first pilot sales to the rescue organizations that already need our product.

Hos Yngvik har vi udviklet kompostbarer indpakningsmaterialer til brug af opbevaring, transport og beskyttelse af tør-opbevarede goder. Vores nuværende prototype kommer i form af en emballagefilm, som vil kunne erstatte plastbaseret strækfilm. Det europæiske marked for emballagefilm udgør 68 millarder Euro. Med EU direktivet for enkeltgangsplastik og indpakning, vil firmaer modtage høje afgifter for, at anvende plastbaseret emballage. I Danmark ville dette komme i form af en 35% afgift over omkostningerne for håndteringen af deres emballage. Samtidig vil disse firmaer få dækket store dele af denne afgift, hvis de anvender bæredygtige materialer, hvilket skaber en økonomisk tilskyndelse. Med vores produkt(er) vil vi adressere skader fra plastik forurening, og medvirke til den grønne omstilling i den af de mest forurenende industrier. For at sikre en cirkulær forretningsmodel, anvender vi eksklusivt sidestrømme fra fødevare industrien til, at lave vores produkt. Her arbejder vi med Carlsberg's Forskningslaboratorie og Nordzucker til at videreudvikle vores teknologi. Med den financielle støtte fra Innovationsfonden vil Gorm kunne forsætte udviklingen af Yngvik på fuld tid, og kapitalere på den eksponentielle vækst Yngvik har set de seneste 6 måneder. Samtidig vil det give virksomheden mulighed for at udvide porteføljen, så vi på længere sigt kan producere pap, papir m.m af vores nuværende råmaterialer, hvilket vil sikre os større tilstedeværelse i markedet
