2.1 mill. Multipel sklerose er en kronisk sygdom, hvor myelin omkring nerverne nedbrydes. At fremme myelinisering kan potentielt mindske sygdomsforløbet. Dette projekt sigter mod at identificere og karakterisere myelin-associerede gliasubpopulationer i væv fra patienter og musemodeller. Formålet er at finde translationsmarkører, der kan forudsige myelinisering, samt undersøge effekten af nuværende og eksperimentelle farmakologiske behandlinger på disse subpopulationer for at styrke lægemiddeludvikling.
