Innovation Pilot in rural districts is the Innovation Fund's program for small and medium-sized businesses in rural areas.
Rural companies with a good idea for a development project - e.g. the development of new products, new markets, services or new production methods can apply for funding to hire a Innovation Pilot - ie. a full-time person with a higher education who is different from current employees.
The person must play a key role in creating, running and developing the project and funds may be allocated to pay part of the salary for one or two years; DKK 150,000 if a one-year project is applied for and DKK 300,000 if the project is two-year.
