En af de mange udfordringer for denne nye klasse af tarmhormonbaserede lægemidler er akut vægtøgning ved behandlingsstop. Via targetering af neuroplastiske mekanismer, udvikler Ousia Pharma stoffer som inducerer vedvarende vægttab. Dette projekt er essentielt for den videre udvikling af denne helt nye klasse af lægemiddelkandidater.
