Målrettet behandling af én eller begge systemer, på forskellige tidspunkter i sygdommen, kan transformere sygdomsforløbet. Vi vil teste denne hypotese det ved at studere biologiske korrelater i begge systemer gennem mekanistiske modeller og MS-kohorter, samt sammenligne effekten af målrettet indgriben i begge af immunsystemets mekanismer på de kliniske score af MS-modeller.

Projektet har til formål at forbedre terapeutiske cancervacciner mod HPV-kræftformer ved at målrette vaccinerne mod HPV-proteinerne E1 og E2 samt E6 og E7 for at styrke T cellers evne til at dræbe kræftcellerne. Projektet undersøger effekter på tumornes mikromiljøet i prækliniske modeller samt udvikler nye metoder til påvisning af HPV-proteiner i kræftbiopsier. Projektet har et betydeligt kommerciel potentiale, idet det bidrager til udviklingen af Loma Therapeutics' HPV-vaccine, Loma001.

2.5 mill. Atopisk dermatitis er en kronisk inflammatorisk hudsygdom, som rammer 20% af alle børn og 2-5% voksne. Da det er en heterogen sygdom, kræver patienterne individuel behandling for at opnå bedst mulig behandlingsrespons. Vores hypotese er, at ved at bruge biomarkører målt i blod, kan vi identificere grupper af patienter ved hjælp af den molekylære profil (endotyper), som kan benyttes til at målrette patienters behandling, og potentielt bidrage til udvikling af nye lægemidler.
