2.3 mill. The role of condensates in cell biology is an emerging and fast growing scientific field. The insulin receptor (IR) translocates to the nucleus and takes part in transcriptional condensate formation at promoter/enhancer regions controlling a large part of the transcriptional landscape. Furthermore, the number of nuclear IR-containing condensates is strongly reduced in insulin resistance, indicating that transcriptional control by IR condensates is distorted in insulin resistance.

Med afsæt i disse simuleringer udvikles der en ROM (Reduced-Order Model), som kan forudsige friktionsnedsættelsen fra luft-smøring i en brøkdel af tiden sammenlignet med CFD. ROM'en vil bruges til at demonstrere styring af luft-smøresystemer på skibe, som vil yderligere forbedre effektivteten. Dette vil nedsætte brændstof forbruget og reducere udledningen.
