2.1 mill. Dette projekt vil udvikle et recirkulerende anti-PD-L1xVEGF bi-specifik monoklonal antistof (mAb) til behandling af kræft. Projektet vil demonstrere potentialet i at kombinere bi-specifikke mAbs med Y-king Biologics’ platform til udvikling af recirkulerende antistoffer. Via recirkulering af antistoffet vil den terapeutiske effekt blive forøget. Det bi-specifikke mAb vil blive evalueret både in vitro og in vivo for at undersøge og optimere de terapeutiske egenskaber.

Europæiske zoos ledet af København Zoo etablerer sikkerheds-bestande i fangenskab, indtil årsagerne til fuglenes tilbagegang i naturen kan løses. I øjeblikket er ynglepopulationerne ikke bæredygtige, da kakaduer har tendens til dårligt forstået aggressiv adfærd overfor avlspartnere. Projektet sigter imod bedre at forstå årsagerne til partneraggression og mod udvikling af nye metoder til at afbøde eller forhindre problemet.

2.1 mill. Clostridium difficile infektion (CDI) er en alvorlig tarminfektion og et voksende problem for global sundhed. C. difficile bakterier udtrykker toksiner, der er en forudsætning for infektion. CD Balance er et kosttilskud, der kan nedsætte risikoen for CDI. Det består af bindingsproteiner, der inaktiverer et C. difficile toksin (TcdB). Dette projekt undersøger hvordan et forbedret CD Balance produkt skal sammensættes, hvis det skal målrette to toksiner (TcdA og TcdB).
