I BIOWIND samles og valideres erfaringer fra eksisterende HVP for at forbedre indhold og metoder i fremtidige HVP-VVM. Målet er at begrænse negative påvirkninger og fremme synergi mellem HVP og marin biodiversitet.

Dette skyldes at der ikke er nogle gode og tilgængelige biomarkører, som kan bruges til at dele patienter op efter deres sygdomsstadie eller hvor hurtigt den skrider fremad. I dette projekt vil vi afprøve en række nye markør kandidater baseret på måling af nedbrydning af proteiner med relevans i MS, og vil vi gøre dette i relevante kliniske studier, og derved forhåbentlig finde nye og relevante biomarkører.
