Projektet sigter mod at adressere eksisterende vidensklofter om sammenhangen mellem kavitation og stoj. Ved at bygge på en ny model for kaviterende stromning, bliver udbredelsen af stoj simuleret nojagtigt med en ny, resurse-efficient stojmodel.

3.9 mill. Tarmkræft er en alvorlig sygdom med høj risiko for tilbagefald samt udfordringer i forhold til tidlig og præcis detektion. I samarbejde med 3 danske hospitaler, vil jeg validere to nye blodbaserede diagnostiske tests, PG-Scan og GlycoScan, som har potentiale til dramatisk at forbedre tidlig diagnostik. Ved at integrere testen i nuværende screenings- og monitoreringsprogrammer håber vi at forbedre diagnosticering, muliggøre behandlingsmonitorering og derved reducere dødeligheden af tarmkræft.
