Korean Institute for Advanced Technology (KIAT) and Innovation Fund Denmark (IFD) are arranging a video powered project pitching conference to promote two EUREKA calls.
The two calls are:
- Advanced Materials & Green Transition
South Korea has opened a EUREKA call on Advanced Materials and Green Transition. The call is multilateral and has 14 participating countries and a call budget of around EUR 20-25 million. The deadline for submissions of the EUREKA application is 30. June 2020
- ITEA for Large Scale ICT solutions
EUREKA ITEA Cluster call on smart ICT solutions in industry and society. It is a two stage call with the first stage in November 2020. A ITEA project typically includes large scale industrial partners and research institutes from 4-10 countries. 20+ countries participate in ITEA and the programme is powered by Europe’s ICT, automotive and manufacturing industry. Projects are typically on €10-20 mio. The ITEA 2020 call is kicked of during The Project Proposal days 8. to 9. September in Helsinki where all interested parties meet and project proposals are discussed.
The video pitching conference is held:
27. March 2020 in Seoul from 17:00 to 19:30 and in Copenhagen from 9:00-11:30
In total 10 participant from South Korea and Denmark will be invited to pitch their project proposals.
The project outline and the “dream-team” must be explained in 3-4 slides and send to the video conference coordinators in South Korea and Denmark who will select the most promising projects ideas for 5-10 minutes pitching.
After the pitch a parallel video link will be provided for more in-detail discussion with the pitcher and the video conference participants. All pitch suggestions can, however, be accessible on KIAT and IFDs homepages.
Conditions for pitch selection:
- The pitchers will be selected based on the Project Proposal Platform.
- After the pitch the pitchers can be contacted directly via video links in separate “break out video sessions”.
- Project proposal not selected for pitching will be made adverbial on IFDs and KIATs homepage until the call deadlines.
- We encourage multilateral consortia, but proposals invited for pitching must include invitations to both South Korean and Danish industrial partners
- KIAT and IFD can fund all types of partners, but the proposals must include industrial partners securing national impact in the two countries
We invite project proposals to the following EUREKA calls:
Registration is not required. Just click the links below for the individual pithes.
Each pitch will take between 10-15 minutes and we encourage all participants to maintain the "mute" function and ask questions via chat.
The meeting is accessed through the affiliate links. Each pitch has its own separate link, so it will be possible to listen to multiple meetings.
In collaboration with KIAT, IFD will hold a concurrent online meeting that can be accessed if there are general questions about the two calls.
We note that the meeting will be recorded and later shared on IFD's website.
