Innovation Fund Denmark's Grand Solutions Committee gets new members and vice-chairs

Innovation Fund Denmark welcomes three new expert committee members to contribute to the assessment work in the Grand Solutions program. At the same time, new deputy chairpersons have been appointed for each committee.

Innovation Fund Denmark has four expert committees that assess the applications for the Grand Solutions program and decide which of these will receive funding.

The expert committees consist of both 'impact experts' who have the skills to assess the commercial and strategic potential for Denmark, and internationally recognized researchers who have the skills to assess the quality of the applications' research and innovation at an international level.

The Innovation Fund Denmark board has now appointed three new members to the Grand Solutions expert committees, who will contribute to the assessment work in the committees. At the same time, deputy chairpersons have been appointed to all four committees.

Committee for Green Research, Technology and Innovation:

New member: Eva Johansson, Professor, Department of Plant Breeding, The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, SE

Eva Johansson is also appointed as deputy chairperson of the committee.

Committee for Life Science, Health and Welfare Technology:

New member: Marilisa Boffo, Professor, Clinical Psychology and Digital Behavioral Health, Erasmus University Rotterdam (NL)

Appointed as Vice-Chairperson: Jai Prakash, Professor of Engineered Therapeutics, University of Twente (NL)

Committee for New Technologies and Artificial Intelligence:

New member: Malcolm Macdonald, Professor, Applied Space Technology Laboratory at the University of Strathclyde (GB-SCT)

Appointed as deputy chairperson: Gian Marco Revel, Professor, Marche Polytechnic University (IT)

The Committee for Quantum Technology:

Appointed as Deputy Chairperson: Daniele Faccio, Professor, Director of Research, School of Physics and Astronomy, University of Glasgow (GB-SCT)
