AAL call 2021

Advancing inclusive health & care solutions for aging well into the new decade.

Who?

IFD can fund both Universities, GTS institutes, Hospitals, Public Organizations and Industry. Innovation Fund Denmark will, for this call, be able to fund both large and small collaborative projects.

What?

the Call 2021 will stress three elements, namely an inclusive health & care approach (health prevention, preservation of physical & mental health, social participation), the stimulation and upscaling of innovation in active & healthy aging through health & care eco-systems and the accessibility of digital solutions to end users, eg through education for greater e-literacy.

How much?

Maximum funding budget for all Danish partners in Small Collaborative Projects (6-9 months) is €100.000 and maximum funding for one Danish partner larger Collaborative Projects (12-30 months) is € 300,000. If two or more Danish partners participate in a larger Collaborative Project the maximum funding for all Danish partners is € 500,000. Eligible cost-categories for Danish partners: Salary, Travel, Subcontracting, Materials, Communication and knowledge sharing, ‘Other expenses’ and overhead.

Innovation Fund Denmark will, for this call, be able to fund both collaborative projects and small collaborative projects.

Collaborative Projects:

  • Duration: 12-30 months
  • Max funding for all partners: € 2.5 million.
  • Participants: at least 3 organizations from 3 countries incl. an end-user and a business partner
  • IFD co-financing: Up to € 500,000 if there are two or more Danish participants and a maximum of € 300,000 for a Danish participant.
  • Danish SME’s may participate in one proposal only.

Small Collaborative Projects:

  • Duration: 6-9 months
  • Max funding for all partners: € 300,000
  • Participants: at least 3 organization from 3 barns incl. an end-user and a business partner
  • IFD co-financing: Up to € 100,000
  • Danish SME’s may participate in one proposal only.
  • Clinical studies and lengthy / intensive trials are not considered for this type of projects.
