Innowwide is a part of EU’s Horizon Europe partnership programme for Innovative SME’s and Innowwide is funded by the European Union as part of the European Partnership on Innovative SMEs
Funding is for SMEs in European Union Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries partnering with a counterpart in Africa, North and South America, the Middle East or Asia-Pacific. Even though only SMEs in European Union Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries benefit from funding, they are allowed to subcontract to their counterpart in their selected target country.
SMEs can apply to Innowwide for a grant of 60,000 euros to conduct market feasibility studies for innovative projects or solutions and work with local experts in their selected target country.
The 2022 Innowwide call will fund 50 projects (with up to 25 of those involving counterparts in Africa).
The program is Eureka. Max funding per project is € 60, .000 euro and the durations of the project is 6 months. The maximum funding rate is 70% of a funding amount fixed at 60,000 euro, so the total eligible project costs must be at least 86,000 euro. Eligible costs: personnel, subcontracting, purchasing costs (travel and subsistence, equipment depreciation, other goods, works and services).
70% of the grant (42,000 euros) will be disbursed at the beginning of project implementation. The remaining 30% (18,000 euros) will be transferred upon delivery and approval of the final report.
