ITEA is an EUREKA instrument facilitating research and innovation projects within software innovation. ITEA projects focus on industry-driven innovation in a global community of large industry, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), start-ups, academia and customer organizations.
ITEA's bottom-up project creation ensures that the project ideas are industry-driven and based on actual customer needs. ITEA is managed by and for industry in close cooperation with the national public authorities. 20 countries participate actively in ITEA including a number of countries outside Europe such as Canada, South Korea, Turkey and Israel.
ITEA offers a two-stage application process where the first stage is a simple Project Outline (PO) and the second is the actual Full Project Proposal (FPP). POs which are positively evaluated are invited for the FPP, describing the project plan and how the project will be executed and managed. Approved FPPs will receive the ITEA label.
The public authorities are fully involved in the evaluation and labeling of projects. With the ITEA label, partners can & nbsp; apply for & nbsp; funding & nbsp; through their national public authorities. The ITEA label is endorsed by all EUREKA Member Countries.
An ITEA project normally consists of 15-20 partners from 3-5 countries and the total budget is typically around € 8,500,000 per project. However, there is no minimum or maximum for the project budget or number of project partners. The only condition is that one project must consist of at least two different organizations from two different countries, of which one must be a EUREKA Member Country and another one either a EUREKA Member Country or a EUREKA Associated Country.
IFD funding to Danish participants
IFP funds projects with at least one Danish industrial partner. Maximum funding budget for a Danish partner is € 300,000. If two or more Danish partners participate in a project the maximum funding budget is € 500,000. & Nbsp; & nbsp;
