The aim of the call is to build our understanding of molecular and cellular mechanisms governing interactions between the cardiovascular system and the other organs/systems when at least one of the two presents a pathological state; build a comprehensive approach to understanding cardiovascular disease interactions, combining basic research, clinical translation, and digital innovation through international collaboration; enable transnational collaboration of multidisciplinary scientists from different countries to work together across borders, taking advantage of complementary expertise and leveraging diverse patient populations and sets of data.
The call targets Danish universities, companies, industry organisations, local/regional governments, research organisations and NGOs. All Danish organizations directly involved in activities in the projects are eligible as applicants to Innovation Fund Denmark.
Innovation Fund Denmark offers co-funding to Danish participants in projects successful in this call.
Co-funding from Innovation Fund Denmark is limited to a maximum funding amount of 500.000 EUR per project and a maximum 300.000 EUR per Danish partner. Minimum funding amount is 50.000 EUR. Maximum funding rates vary between 25-90% of the project costs, please see Guidelines for international projects.
